When I saw this image and this one too, I became so inspired to try my hand at making a friendship bracelet. I remember making them with my older sisters when I was about nine or ten. I used to make a different kind where you would take the thread in each hand and sort of weave them together. This was my first try at this kind and it was so satisfying. It feels like such a summery campy craft, like something you would make to give to a new friend who you would be saying good-bye to before heading home in different directions (was that a perfect run on sentence?). Anyway, it brought back wonderful memories as I tied knot after knot after knot and now I want a whole wrist full!
